You are cordially invited to participate in the Fall 2022 series of the Virtual Journal Club, sponsored by the College & Research Division of the Pennsylvania Library Association! Please use this form to indicate which topic(s) you would be interested in reading about in the fall series, as well as indicate your scheduling preferences.
You are welcome to attend one, two, or all three of the meetings to discuss the readings. If you are interested in participating, please feel free to sign up – there is no cost and no commitment beyond your time to read and discuss the articles.

I’m writing to share information about the third meeting of the Summer 2022 series of Virtual Journal Club, sponsored by the College & Research Division of the Pennsylvania Library Association!
We will continue with our theme of faculty perceptions of information literacy. At our meeting on Thursday, August 18th, from 2:00-3:00 pm, we will discuss:

Last Call for the Affordable Learning PA Summit
The fourth annual Affordable Learning PA Summit begins tomorrow and will be held virtually on August 9-10. The ALPA Summit is an opportunity for librarians, faculty, and others to collaborate on building a network dedicated to making higher education in Pennsylvania more accessible and affordable.
The theme of this year’s Summit is “Infrastructure for Affordability.” A variety of presentations, panels, posters, lightning talks, and keynotes will provide opportunities to learn about constructing OER, building networks, blueprints for assessment, pedagogy frameworks, and miscellaneous building materials.
Additional program details and a link to register for the Summit are available at https://alpasummit.learningtimesevents.org/. Registration for attendance at live events is capped at 200 attendees.
