Technology has the power to make your life easier.  You can upload all of your files onto the cloud, eliminating the need to carry a computer; set reminders on your phone, so you never miss a meeting; and pre-load social media content months before it needs to be posted.  It has the power to connect us to people all over the world and at the same time learn about hidden gems in our own communities.

However, we are constantly inundated with information about the latest and greatest tools. The sheer volume of new apps, gadgets and websites can be overwhelming.  This webinar will pare down the list for you.  Learn about new gadgets, apps and websites to make your work and your life more efficient.

Leslie Swope is the director of the St. Marys Public Library in Elk County, Pennsylvania.

She has worked in libraries since 2008.  Her past positions include youth services librarian and assistant director.  Swope holds a B.A. in English literature and an M.L.S. both from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.

Swope is a PaLA Board Member, PA Forward Financial Literacy Team Member, a graduate of PALS (Pennsylvania Academy of Leadership Studies), a graduate of Leadership Elk County, a member of the DISCOVER partnership of Elk and Cameron counties, and a member of the Early Learning Team of Elk County.

She is the mother of a two year old Noah, and wife of Robert.  Leslie is a tech gadget junkie and an avid knitter.
