GPLLA Legal Research Course for 2017
The Greater Philadelphia Law Library Association is pleased to announce the GPLLA Legal Research Course for 2017. We’ve made many exciting changes to this year’s course, including a reduced registration fee, payment forms accepted, and access to Westlaw and Lexis Advance for participants.
Dates: Tuesdays, April 11 – May 16
Time: 5:15-6:30 p.m.
Location: Online
This 6-week introductory legal research course is geared towards professionals and students interested in learning the basics of legal research or needing a refresher. The course will be presented by instructors from various Philadelphia area law schools and firms. Topics to be covered include an introduction to the legal system, statutory research, researching case law, using secondary sources, researching administrative law, and using paid and free services to locate the law.
