The Board meets monthly via the online meeting platform Zoom. There is one annual CRD workshop that board members are strongly encouraged to attend. The CRD also sponsors programs and a luncheon at the PaLA annual conference each year; again, board members are strongly encouraged to attend.

Join the Southwest Chapter of PaLA on its second annual Library Crawl on Thursday, September 29^th at 6:00 p.m. at the Carnegie Library and Museum in Oakland.

This year we will be crawling at The Carnegie Library and Carnegie Museum of Art…we will be partaking in a behind-the-scenes tour of the Carnegie Library’s William R. Oliver Special Collections Room with Archivist Greg Priore…then we’ll be behind-the-scenes at the Carnegie Museum of Art with Archivist Charlene Foggie-Barnett to see the Teenie Harris Collection.

The Crawl is FREE to all who want to attend and see what it takes to handle and preserve these special collections…not to mention the great stories that each item will tell.
