Join CRD’s Connect & Communicate Series for a Panel Discussion on
Using Archives and Special Collections in Instruction

Whether your institution is currently using its archives and special collections in instruction or not, you’ll want to join us for this panel session! Panelists Christy Fic (Archives & Special Collections Librarian, Shippensburg University), Julia McGinnis (Associate Professor & Resources Acquisition, Metadata, and Special Collections Librarian, California University of Pennsylvania), and Isabella O’Neill (Head of Special Collections/University Archives, Bucknell University) discuss various topics, including how collaborations with faculty have led to the integration of archival and special collections-based instruction, the development of special collections, and the improvement of resources and funding, as well as how to go beyond “show and tell” and create a real learning experience for students. A Q&A session follows the panel discussion.
